For Chef Kevin, food has always been about more than simply preparing a meal. It’s about family, culture, connection and bringing people together.

As the founder of New Initiative Catering, Kevin has turned his passion for cooking and hospitality into a business built around the flavours he knows and loves. Inspired by the richness of Afro-Caribbean food and the tradition of sharing good food with good company, his approach combines authentic flavours, generous portions and a genuine desire for people to enjoy the experience.

Kevin believes some of the best memories are created around food—whether it’s a family celebration, wedding, community gathering, corporate event or a plate shared with friends. That sense of warmth and togetherness is at the heart of New Initiative Catering.

From preparing the first dish to seeing guests enjoy the final plate, Kevin remains hands-on and passionate about what leaves his kitchen.
